The new building is really cool! Staff do an OUTSTANDING job! Always super friendly! The games are mostly "money-grab" games though. Only about 4 games you could play and enjoy for longer than a button press. We bought wristbands which includes bowling but shoe rental is $4 extra. That's pretty crappy! This place didn't used to be such a greedy joint.
I classify this as one of the best arcades ever, people could care less about the adult side of it, the arcade is lit, bowling is good, mini golf is great, but most of all... Laser tag is the BEST!!!!! Great setting in there, you have enough walls for cover, and you get good teammates in it a lot, oh and I also got my first invisible ink bottles here.
Great experience when we go! I think the cost is pretty pricey, we bowled for 2 hours and with renting shoes it was around $75 so definitely not for someone on a budget. However, the atmosphere, customer service and drinks were absolutely amazing. You can choose different games to play while bowling, we had a blast playing Angry Birds.
I have been displaced from my home by Hurricane Harvey. I live in Houston, Texas. However, I am residing with some family members for 2-3 months until my house is restored to its natural state. I came to bowl at your establishment, last night Monday September 4, 2017. I was greeted by the nice cashier lady when I walked in the door, and had a very nice server. I did not order anything, but Abby continued to take great care of me. She was very friendly, kind, and attentive. About half way through my bowling time, I noticed a shift in her aura. I was concerned because she'd also been gone for a while, so I asked her what was up. She told me that she was fine and not to worry about her, and also that she'd been gone because she had to talk to her manager. I connected the dots, and figured that she'd received bad news of some sort as there was not anyone else around. If you were to ask me, that's unprofessional. If she had bad news to tell, she should have waited until the end of the shift, as not to affect the work ethic of their employees. That is why I give HeyDay a Entertainment 3 stars. Great employees, terrible management. But who knows? Maybe if I'd went on a different night, it would have been a different story. I also thought it was weird that around 9:50, I was switched over to another server and I think I heard someone yell, "I just got terminated." Weird. My husband and I went and played mini golf for a date night we haven't had in over a year due to kids and medical problems my husband has. As we got to the 12th hole his blood sugar level dropped and we sat down. Normally I carry glucose tablets but had not put more in my purse since running out. I went in looking for a vending machine or something for sugar to bring him back up and Dana (whom I'm guessing to be a manager) said they didn't have anything like that but she had some herself in the office. She gave me a couple of mini Snickers from her own things to help my husband. This is definitely what I would call going above and beyond and just being an awesome person. We didn't get to finish our game and left a few minutes after he started feeling better. This kind act has cemented to us the kind of people that work here and we will be going back to finish that game. Also this was our first time at HeyDay and it truly did leave a positive impression on us. We have 6 kids ages 10-17 and we will be taking them here for our next family outing.
