It's not a bad place, and nobody wants to end up in a hospital.. the staff is nice and knows what they are doing, my wife had to stay a few days and she didn't complain.. hope everyone stays healthy.
Half the time they don't know what they are doing. Massive impotence and disorganization. Avoid altogether if you can. You're better off in a rural hospital.
Would give 0 stars if I could. Sprained my ankle and the dr at Norman regional ER told me I would be back on my feet in 2-3 Days. Didn’t give me pain medicine even though I was weeping from the pain. Sent me home in a flimsy brace. 2 weeks later I went to a different urgent care because I hadn’t improved and still couldn’t walk. I cried every day from pain. The dr there told me I had a grade 3 sprain and had torn the ligaments all the way through and will need surgery. I am shocked at the lack of care and attention the doctor at Norman regional gave me. I will never go there again. I understand now why all my nurse friends say Norman regional is where people go to die.
I went to the ED on a Saturday night and had a wonderful experience despite terrible circumstances. Dr. Hill, Dr. Phillips, and nurse Rebecca were so compassionate and thorough, and informative. They took very good care of me and were so kind. I got to the back very quickly also! I'm so grateful to them!
Love Dr. Carter and the excellent care team we had. Best hospital I've ever been at. Our 4 stay was filled with professional top notch care in every department.
