A great place for families to share quality time.. the kids can see a part of the past and have on hands learning.. they do have areas that they change out.. fun...fun

Wonderful place to spend an afternoon. It's never too late in life to learn. Highly recommended for anything from a conservative first date to a great way to unwind.

Our boys enjoyed the exhibits. Disappointed with the way the patrons were treated at closing time. There were approx. 5 other families in addition to ours finishing up, yet we received multiple pointed looks from staff as they checked their watches then stared at us. This started about 4:40 p.m. Then we were shut in the gift shop at 4:50 because they were closing. Closing time is posted as 5 p.m. We were not trying to take advantage of their time, however when a family has paid admission & their children are finishing up, most well respected learning facilities will allow patrons to finish before running them out the door, especially if they will be spending more money to support their foundation. Sad to say that this is not the case at the Sam Noble Museum. We had already decided to return to Norman and visit the museum so our boys could finish the exhibits and were planning to make several purchases in the gift shop. We will likely return to see the exhibits, but I will NOT purchase anything in the gift shop to support them further. I will make my purchases elsewhere. Hate that I will give them more business at all, but it's about my boys' learning, not supporting that facility.

My son had a great time doing his cub scout adventure here.

I used to love going here as a child and now that I return as a student it is just as captivating as it was when I was little. It is really great way to learn about the history if ancient life. That is my favorite exhibit and does a great job of explaining how the earth formed to how we got to present day. Personally my favorite is the Triassic era.
