I went to see Dr. Morris for the first time last year, and again just recently and was very satisfied with the service I received. I have strabismus in my left eye which is a very embarassing and awkward condition, but I've felt very much at ease discussing my options with Dr. Morris. Prior to going to Norman Vision Center, I had a string of bad experiences. For whatever reason, possibly the strabismus, my last few prescriptions have been hard to nail down. With the last three eye doctors I saw, my prescriptions varied widely and two of the doctors I dealt with barely spent 10 minutes with me. On top of that, I also had the wrong prescription for my prism given to me twice. Talk about headaches! The last eye doctor I saw got my prism straightened out and Dr. Morris was able to get a much better read on my prescription last year. I am just ecstatic to have Dr. Morris after going years without getting a proper prescription. Being able to see is terribly important! It's nice to have a doctor who takes the time to make sure I can.
We have had Dr. Flax as an eye doctor for years. They always have the best customer service. When I had all 5 children at home they were able to schedule everyone at one time when I needed them to. And last year when my daughter jabbed a paintbrush in my son's eye I took my son to the emergency room they gave him drops and left it at that. It didn't seem to be getting better so Dr. Flax's office was willing to work him in at the last minute. Dr. Flax helped him greatly...he even gave me his cell phone number in case there were any problems over the weekend with my son's eye. To me that was above and beyond! Thank you Dr. Flax!
Great appointment! Was seen right away and all went smoothly. Ordered my new sunglasses and they were ready in less than a week. Wonderful people and doctors!
I have used Dr. Flax since 2007 when I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. He is an extremely competent and caring individual. He is always thorough with his examinations. I highly recommend Dr. Flax for anyone desiring an optometrist in the greater Norman area.
My family been seeing Dr. Pepper Martin for almost 20 years. We have followed him as the business has grown and moved from a tiny office on campus corner in Norman, to downtown Norman, to the present location. He is always cheerful, considerate, thoughtful, thorough and polite. He listens when you have questions, is willing to let you try different options and if they don't work, will work with you until you find something that does work. And you only pay for what works. If there is an emergency, like the morning when my husband woke up with a painful scratch on his eye, the office got him in to see one of the doctors immediately that morning. We prefer to see Dr. Martin, but on occasion have seen one of the other doctors in the practice and they are all very nice.
