She was on call during my induction. I had established a great provider relationship with her, but this experience pushed it over the edge. I was high risk and experiencing some issues. Every time we needed her, she was steps away. When emergency steps had to be taken she was able to keep me calm, composed, and provided excellent care. I knew the whole time my son and I were in good hands. I literally trusted her with my life.
I have seen Dr. Carter for 5 years now. She, and her staff, are all absolutely incredible. Dr. Carter is so kind, warm, understanding, and knowledgeable. She has the best bedside manner, always takes appropriate time, and makes sure all of your concerns and questions are addressed. Her nurses always make sure to call me back, and treat me so personably.
Most of the staff is not friendly at all. You try to get through to a nurse and they have the phones set straight to voicemail, so God forbid you have an urgent issue. They also overbook their appointments so you usually have to wait 30+ mins just to get seen. My friend who was 7-8 months pregnant complained to her doctor about the wait time and how there was no ac with all the moms to be in the waiting room and they told her to go find services somewhere else...at the end of her pregnancy!
I cannot say enough good about Dr. Carter and her staff. Truly, there's not enough time and kind words.
I would give 0 stars if it were possible. This was the worst experience that I have EVER had with a doctor. She refused to listen to my concerns, stated she "understood" how I felt when she couldnt possibly understand as a young healthy woman what its like having a long term debilitating disease. NO bed side manner! Told me I was NEVER going to get better from my autoimmune disease that shes not even my doctor for! Pushed a hysterectomy on me at the age of 37!!! Along with other treatments that have HORRIBLE side effects! Told me what she was willing to do with no discussion of what my wishes were. Would not recommend her to ANYONE who needs a compassionate doctor.
I have never been treated so rudely by office staff in my life!! I loved Dr. Carol Anderson but will no longer return to this office because of the dispassionate and inconsiderate treatment I received today from the office manager. I simply do not tolerate poor Customer Service.
I absolutely love Dr. Carter, Amber, Lacey, and Lindsay! They all go above and beyond to provide compassionate women’s healthcare. Dr. Carter has delivered both of my children. I knew my babies and I were safe and in good hands with Dr. Carter and her staff. After a full day in clinic when Dr. Carter was not on hospital call, she came to the hospital to perform an unplanned cesarean to keep my baby and me safe and healthy. I am forever grateful to Dr. Carter and her amazing staff!
Don’t come here if you have or think you may have endometriosis. They are very uneducated/outdated on the disease itself and will probably misdiagnose you or give you a laser removal surgery (which does more harm than good).
