my girls have been going to alpha now for the past 2 years. They started in rec classes and moved onto team. Both competed level 3 last year, this year one is level 3 and the other is level 4. The staff is amazing! Their coach and owner is the best! She does what she can for each family who is part of alpha. For the price we pay and quality of coaching nothing beats this place. Wether your looking for comepetitive gymnastics, recreational gymnastics or tumbling , cheer or fitness classes.
Awesome place! AMAZING COACHES! Super clean & organized facility! Team kids and recreation kids have thrived and become confident, super awesome athletes! The coaches as well as the owners have worked not only with the kids but the parents as well. The team has a solid, cohesive structure with a price to pay as we (parents) all accept that. The cost structure is part of the sport and understandably the parents know that's what it takes to run the business. The cost of any program being ran at Alpha is very near the same market price as all the other gymnastic clubs in the area. What sets Alpha Gymnastics a part from the other clubs and their costs is the heart, dedication and devotion of the owner/coaches and their gymnasts!
Overall for me the training my daughters receive has paid dividends and even if it's a minor difference in cost I am more that willing to look past that due to the level of interaction and instruction provided by Karis and her team of coaches.
My daughters are more than just gymnasts and teammates. All the girls are like family and the smaller ratio of coach to gymnast provides for an outstanding environment for the gymnasts to get the extra attention they need. This was extremely apparent when another gymnast who left for another local gym with larger gymnast to coach ratio was scoring lower at the state meet, when she was a full point higher score wise when she was still at Alpha.
When we first started going there we had no idea what we were getting into in terms of what competition gymnastics was going to cost. After some research into pricing and what the average cost was we realized that gymnastics was going to take a lot of time, dedication, and some extra expenses due to travel and what not.
Alpha Gymnastics owner and coaches focus totally on providing a fun, safe, and learning experience for each child enrolled. This sport is not only about being able to master the skills, but learning about discipline needed to succeed in gymnastics and in life. I am a public school teacher and have seen how this sport instills in children a love for competition, determination, loyalty, and teamwork. I have also been a parent of a gymnast. I have watched my child develop an instant love for this sport which involved a lot of hard work, sweat, and yes.....sometimes tears! Gymnastics is not for every child but Alpha Gymnastics will offer equal time and opportunity to every child who wants to try the sport!
