Sooner Legends is a great place to take friends for a night out. Oklahoma University (OU) decor all over! Family friendly, too. Food is always great! BBQ, grilled chicken, burgers, even Mexican food! Large menu with something for everyone. Wait staff is always pleasant and efficient. We've been going there for years and will continue!
Just was there for a baby shower. Seemed like a decent place but I didn't have any of their food. The staff there was very helpful with the whole event though and the bathrooms were clean. I'd check it out for dinner sometime for sure.
Horrible place with horrible managers who smell like smoke, lie, and are rude to customers. Food is a joke, service is a joke, the rooms are dirty, the carpet has stains, the popcorn ceilings shed, and the smoke filled bar air seeps into the main entrance. The manager is a very unhappy person who gets upset if you question anything. Had a dinner for 40 kids and she told us we could leave the hotel because we ran out of food and she said it was our fault, they prepared enough. Stay away from this place.
The bar here is great cheap pool (1.00) a game drinks are cheap unfortunately the restaurant is closed but you can still order some food from the bar. Its quiet and relaxing. Good local spot to go chill have a couple of drinks and watch a game.
The hotel is mediocre, the breakfast is mediocre but better than a chain hotel and the pool large and jam packed with kids from various camps in the area. The staff was very friendly but the facility felt understaffed. It was a decent family experience - 3 moms and 6 girls traveled to nearby gymnastics camp and stayed for a long weekend. The HUGE disappointment was that in all of that inspiring athletic 'sooner' memorabilia decorating the walls and rooms we had to search to find images of female athletes! I asked about it at the front desk and the kind young woman referred me to a handful of photos we might find in the hotel. I will not recommend this hotel to any of the many gymnast families we know that travel to Norman for camp.
