They need shade. Would attend more summer concerts if it we didn't have to sit in the sun when it's 100 degrees.
Norman hosts a lot of events here, like the annual May Fair, and it is located across the street from the Norman Central Library. My children have enjoyed birthdays at the splash pad and covered picnic areas. There are plenty of sidewalks for exercising as as family or while the kids play in the playground. There are also family movie nights and music at the amphitheater. Overall, Andrews Park is wonderful.
Nice park with lots of cool events and a splash pad and public restrooms. It makes me really happy how much this park gets used, especially the basketball and skate park. It's majorly sunny in the summer though, the trees could use a couple more decades of growth. That's my only complaint
Andrews park is always a good time. Concerts, family events, walk in the park dog walk etc. Love this place.
Wonderful park that is well maintained with plenty of space for the kids to run and play, and wide open areas for intramural sports off all kinds
